Marvin is turning 5 in June and is an owner surrender. They have had him since a puppy but as their family grew with tiny people they made him a little nervous and he avoids them. His previous owners just want him to be happy and they feel that he would be without tiny hands that like to grab and wobbly legs that sometimes give way on you!

 

Marvin is half dachshund and half chihuahua and weighs about 9lbs. He has always had a kink in his tail which does not bother him and may have happened at birth.

He can be shy at first and takes a little while to come out of his shell, but once he does prepare yourself for a best friend as a life long companion. 

One of his favorite pastimes is to play fetch and he does not care if it is indoors or outdoors. Marvin would flourish in a home where he could get a lot of one on one time. He hasn't been around any feline friends so would need testing but Marvin's previous owners think he would OK.

 

Marvin is house broken, crate and leash trained and like all of our dogs fully vaccinated. He also gets along with other dogs but does prefers females.
